Sarah, Amag, and Ingrid played basketball. Well, not really Sarah since she wasn’t able to play. Jazzy went in instead of Sarah. We lost our first Girl’s basketball game. Same thing with the second basketball game later that day. T-T
We played soccer against white. I think we lost a goal against the girls but the guys managed to score, so this was a draw. THIS IS THE MOST BORING SOCCER GAME EVER. EVER. And i’m telling, you from the PoV of a midfielder. Hey, at least we didn’t lose. And there’s this really annoying first year (whom i will refer to as X)who’s trying to boss us around. I know she’s pretty good, but hey, soccer ain’t an individual sport. If you’re telling us what to do, at least pass the ball to us di ba? Stupid, really.
And we had another soccer game later that day. Another draw. We almost lost, but Richard managed to scrape a goal in the last few minutes and managed to save our skins. They put X as a forward and put Jazzy as a defender. In the end, we didn’t even get to go near enough Blue’s goal. She didn’t do her job as a forward. Again.
Jazzy played volleyball. whee~ It was really fun to watch, but before that, everyone was all panicky cuz we may get defaulted cuz there aren’t enough people. It’s because some people signed up and decided to go somewhere else, so we had to cover up for them. But hey, we won, so it’s not bad. Go Ate Ralaine!
Really uneventful day, except for the last few hours. Ingrid treated us to sansrival and a bucket of chicken. Free lunch.
We played soccer before noon. X decided to become a defender, once agan stealing Jazzy’s place. Wrong timing, that git. We needed Jazzy as a defender earlier, not as a forward. Switch places at the right time, would you? We lost 2 goals in the womens part, but i dunno what happened next because we watched swimming. Vega won second place, i think. He said so. And there was a relay. We were losing (as in last place) after the first two swimmers, but was able to become 2nd when Vega swam. Propeller. But then the last swimmer was really slow so we went back to last place. Sad.
On the way down, we saw the Fajardo playing. Men’s basketball, green vs. violet. It was the 2nd quarter. We were losing. Then came the 3rd quarter, we managed to score some goals, so we weren’t really behind, and in fact, ahead until the end of the third quarter. During the 4th quarter, things started to change drastically. well not really drastically, i’m just exaggerating.
Last one minute. Green team is in penalty. A foul by someone from our team. Oops, wrong move. Now, they’re ahead. By one point. The score was 30-31, in favor of Violet.
Last 27 seconds. More stalling from the violet side.
Last 7 seconds. It was our ball. More stalling. You can now see the smiling faces of the people from the violet team.
Three. All was quiet. Ball was passed to Crissy. Two, Crissy guards the ball and jumps. One. The ball was hurled into the air…
ZERO! SHOOT! Yay! Noise burst the air and everyone jumped for joy! We won, 33-31! And it wasn’t an ordinary shot, it was a three-pointer, buzzer-beater! And I thought I can only see it on TV.
Nothing much happened. We just watched the Men’s basketball finals. We lost, 46-45. Darn. The blue Juniors & Seniors were so noisy, and I was the only one cheering for our team so most of the Green Players couldn’t concentrate. Oh well.
Ingrid, Jazzy and I went to UP Shopping Center to buy a 125 mL Erlenmeyer Flask. We had Jazzy’s parents sneak the three of us out by riding in her car. They dropped us off Quezon Ave, and we rode a jeep to UP. Unfortunately, my mom was also going to UP. And with much luck, we came to ride the same jeep they rode in, so she found out. Luckily, she didn’t get mad.
After buying the Erlenmeyer flask, we bought some ice cream. Jazzy bought geen tea, Ingrid bought Caramel while I bought a Strawberry one. We went to SM North EDSA afterwards. Not much happened after that.
